Math Doctor is a trusted math and science tutoring agency, based in midtown Toronto, serving families in midtown Toronto and beyond.
We are looking to add (2) more talented tutors to our growing team who has a passion for making a difference in young people' lives. We are looking for professional, reliable, and energetic people who lives in midtown Toronto, because the region of coverage is a radius of 7 km from Yonge and Eglinton.
Our tutors are free to set their schedules, making it the perfect job for anyone looking for flexible work hours. Whether you're an Ontario Certified Teacher, a supply teacher, a student, a teacher-in-training, or a recent university graduate, Math Doctor caters to you!
At Math Doctor, we source the customers so you don't have to. Join the Math Doctor team and start delivering 1-on-1 tutorial sessions to students who live near you, of any age and level. The candidate hired into this position will be expected to do some travelling for in-home tutoring assignments, as well as teach students virtually.
Requirements:
- Ontario Certified Teacher (preferred) or University Degree in the field of Sciences, Math, Psychology, and/or Communications.
- Previous Experience working with children and youth
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
- Experience leading students with various learning disabilities (preferred)
- Has an ability to confidently teach multiple subjects/test preps (preferred)
- Has a G2 or G driver's license and unrestricted access to a vehicle (preferred)
This position is part-time and requires the individual to be available on some weekdays between 4 to 8pm, as well as possibly on the weekends during daytime. The candidate must successfully pass a background check and also a Vulnerability Sector screening test.

Target Pay Range:
Online: $23 to $27/hr
In-Person: $33 to $37/hr
NOTE: The chosen candidates are expected to start on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
