Immigration Office - Internship

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an office environment while developing essential skills in administration and customer service. Duties

• Assist with front desk operations, including greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems
• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Support office management activities, including filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office supplies
• Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and assisting with scheduling appointments
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various administrative tasks, including typing reports and proofreading documents
• Manage calendars for team members, coordinating meetings and appointments as needed
• Collaborate with staff on bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
• Engage in clerical duties that contribute to the overall efficiency of the office

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
• Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software applications
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Effective phone etiquette and customer service skills for interacting with clients and visitors
• Experience in administrative roles or clerical positions is preferred
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing communication with diverse clients
• Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and calendar management is beneficial
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
