About the Job:
We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and hard-working Ice Cream Truck Drivers to join our team for the summer season! You’ll be operating one of our mobile ice cream trucks, bringing frozen treats to corporate events, birthday parties, school functions, and neighborhood routes throughout the GTA Area & Beyond!
Seasonal Details:
- Term: June through end of September
- Shifts: Full-time or part-time available
- Start Time: Arrival Time at Shop around, 9:00–9:30 AM
- Availability: Must be available weekends and ideally weekdays as well
- Pay: Commission-based
- Average daily earnings range from $150–$350
- Busy weekends can reach $400–$500+
Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate a fully stocked ice cream truck
- Serve guests at private events (corporate functions, birthday parties, school events)
- Cruise pre-set routes to sell ice cream in designated neighborhoods
- Keep truck clean, stocked, and running smoothly throughout the day
- Handle payments and maintain basic sales records
- Deliver friendly, positive customer service at all times
- Communicate with the team for restocking and event updates
Requirements:
- G2 or G driver’s licence (clean abstract preferred)
- Comfortable driving and working long days (especially in hot weather)
- Confident working independently and managing cash/POS
- Prior experience in food service, customer service, or driving roles is an asset
- Must be reliable, friendly, and able to manage high-volume days
- Comfortable working outdoors and on the road
