JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the administration support for benefits and human resources. This role is responsible for maintaining the WorkSafe program, the benefits program, ensuring personnel files are accurately maintained, supporting employee moral initiatives including employee of the month and assists with the recruitment process for the Department Heads.

Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for people and community care? Fort Langley Seniors Community is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to support our vibrant and compassionate team.
About the Role
As the Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our home’s operations by managing HR administration, recruitment, benefits coordination, and workplace safety processes. Reporting to the Site Leader or designate, you’ll be the go-to person for employee support and HR best practices.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR documentation
- Coordinate internal and external job postings, screen applicants, and support interview processes
- Prepare employment letters, onboarding schedules, and benefits enrollment
- Track probation periods and support performance milestones
- Manage WorkSafe claims and modified work programs
- Liaison with unions and support labour relations
- Support staff communication and employee engagement
- Promote and uphold health and safety standards across the home
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a business environment; HR experience is an asset
- Strong organizational, clerical, and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
