Wage: $25.03 per hour
We are currently seeking one (1) new team member to coordinate and deliver services to school-aged girls+ in Hastings and Prince Edward County.

The successful applicant will be experienced in program coordination, energetic, and an organized independent worker who enjoys a combination of frontline and administrative work, responsibility, team collaboration, and regular travel.
Job Duties
Reporting to the Girls Ed Program Lead
- Coordinate, plan, and facilitate programs for participants in grades one through twelve including in-school programs, after school programs, community-based programs, and Summer, Winter, and March Break Day Camp programs.
- Regular travel throughout Hastings & Prince Edward Counties and occasional travel to Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington counties in a personal vehicle (travel costs will be compensated).
- Understanding and observing agency service targets.
- Administrative tasks and documentation related to program coordination, program delivery, and program documentation.
- Purchasing program supplies as necessary and submitting expenses for reimbursement.
- Working individually and with team members to deliver programs and services according to the Girls Inc. mission.
- Regular communication and collaboration with the Girls Ed Program Lead.
- Working with, supporting, and mentoring other Girls Ed program facilitation staff as appropriate with support from the Girls Ed Program Lead.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed post-secondary education in Social Service Work, Behavioural Science, Behavioural Psychology, or an equivalent field is required.
- Previous experience in program coordination/supervision or management is required.
- Previous experience coordinating and facilitating programs to children/youth is required (minimum of two years).
- Successful completion of a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) check including a Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
- Access to own transportation is required for regular program delivery-related travel between/throughout service areas.
- Experience and ease using local and online digital administrative tools independently including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Dropbox, Monday.com, printer/scanner, iPad/iOS, etc. and ability to troubleshoot common issues is required.
- First Aid/CPR, ASIST, ACE Training, and High Five certifications are assets. Applicants with similar international certifications/credentials are also encouraged to apply Knowledge of the impact of gender inequity and social issues affecting girls and residents across the KFL&A and H&PE areas is an asset.
