Bell 2 Lodge is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill a cross trained role of Housekeeper/Cafe Attendant for our Remote Resort in Northern BC.
This is a short term contract for 2 rotations until the end of September.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic team player, with a positive attitude and proven flexible approach.
Housekeepers provide cleaning service to all lodge accommodations and common areas daily. Our lodge is not a typical hotel, as it is fully self-sustaining and includes chalets with individual rooms in a remote location.
The Café Attendant must LOVE customer service. Catering to road guest & contractors, you are in charge of running the Gas Station, Lunch Menu, Espresso Machine all while maintaining inventory levels of all confectionary, beverage and house-made food items. This position is responsible for keeping a clean work environment for guests while producing sales and working with a cash register. The Cafe Attendant does require barista skills who master latte art and can maintain/adjust a manual 2 group head Espresso Machine
Excellent attention to detail and following procedures is paramount in this role. Maintenance and cleanliness play an important part in the services we provide to our guests and must be maintained at the highest standards.
Reporting to the Lodge Manager, preferred skills and core competencies are:

- Be physically fit to fulfill this position, including reaching and bending to clean, as well as climbing stairs
- Able to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Passion for working with people and the outdoors is an asset
Requirements
- A minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a resort/luxury hotel
- Must be legally entitled to live & work in Canada
Accommodation and meals are provided for all employees while on rotation.
Please note we cannot accommodate pets.
Schedule is three weeks on and one week off working ten hour days.
Transfers to and from Terrace provided. Flights are at your cost.
