What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience
- Positive, attentive, and reliable
- Strong communication skills — fluent in English
- Versatile and ambitious — willing to jump in where needed and grow with the team

- Part-time: ~8-12 hours/week (one week day evening and weekends)

About us
RAW- Japanese Hand Roll Bar is a locally owned small business that opened this past March. We have curated an amazing team that works collaboratively to achieve our common goal of providing a unique and fun dining experience for our patrons through contemporary Japanese cuisine. We value a positive and healthy work environment as we know how impactful this is for our staff and daily operations.
Other responsibilities to consider:
- Greets customers and seats them
- Maintains a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Takes customer orders
- Delivers drinks and cooked food from the back kitchen
- Pro-Serve preferred and is able to prepare basic cocktails
- Collects payment and processes transactions accurately
- Assist in stocking and replenishing inventory as needed
- Polishing glassware/cutlery, sweeping, mopping, refilling items
- Cleans the dining area
- Fulfills take out orders
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems to process orders and payments
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patrons
- Ability to handle food safely and follow health and safety guidelines
- Cashiering skills to handle cash transactions and give accurate change
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming environment for guests
- Experience in cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with food service regulations and best practices
