Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant's offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality throughout the dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous Host/Host experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
- Strong background in food service and customer service, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with guests positively.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
