About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Hospitality Business Management Instructor to guide and inspire students as they build their future in the hospitality industry. You will play a key role in helping students develop both the technical and soft skills needed to succeed in areas such as hotel operations, tourism, customer service, marketing, leadership, and business administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, up-to-date lessons based on the program curriculum (lectures can be live online or in person).
- Support diverse learners through flexible teaching styles and practical examples.
- Assess student work, provide timely feedback, and support academic progress.
- Work with the CHBC team to ensure a coordinated, quality learning experience.
- Incorporate real-world knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry.
- Help prepare students for practicum placements and industry employment.
- Encourage student participation in outreach and community-based learning projects.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and communication.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in hospitality, tourism, or business operations.
- Teaching or training experience is an asset (but not required—training can be provided).
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using online learning platforms (Moodle experience is a plus).
- A passion for mentoring and student success.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 21 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
