Are you a motivated individual with a commitment to safety and customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? Innisfail Home Centre presents the ideal opportunity for you! We’re currently looking for a Home Centre Driver to join our dynamic team.

Position: Home Centre Driver

Full Time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service

  • Support customers in the yard

  • Maintain product knowledge and offer advice to customers upon request

  • Carry out regular preventative maintenance program and schedule repairs as needed

  • Deliver customer products promptly and professionally

  • Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently

  • Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts

  • Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality

  • Highly self-motivated

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is a requirement

  • Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire

  • Experience running a forklift is preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required

  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
