K12 Building Blocks Learning Center offers a wide range of academic programs and summer camps for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, including English, Math, French, Science, and Computer Programming.
We are currently seeking a High School English Tutor to join our team. Remote work is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English Literature (required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching high school academic English (Grades 9–12)
- Familiarity with the Ontario English Curriculum
- Experience teaching AP English, SSAT, SAT, or ACT is considered an asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students effectively
- Skilled at preparing course materials and structured lesson outlines
- Ability to capture and maintain students’ attention in both in-person and online settings
- teaching experience is required
- Well-organized, punctual, and reliable
