Our Plus Company Vancouver office has an immediate opening for a Helpdesk Technician in a hybrid role. Working with our international Systems & Technology team, you will provide support to all systems and technology related requests and projects, including but not limited to, systems administration, in-office support and Mac & PC troubleshooting.
We are looking for a quick-witted, results-oriented and super-smart Helpdesk Technician to join us to resolve issues, answer queries and serve as ambassadors for our company. Are you interested in working directly with people? Do you have confidence, discipline and a drive for success? This position is people facing and will include identifying problems and working within your peers and management to resolve them.
Our preferred candidates will have a proven track record of working within a team environment to successfully address technical issues as well as solid analytical and problem solving skills. This is an excellent opportunity to jump into tech support in an environment with fantastic on-the-job learning and mentorship while also bringing to the table your industry certifications and experiences as an asset.
Responsibilities
- In-office user support including equipment provisioning/support, employee onboarding, troubleshooting networks, software and office issues.
- As needed, troubleshooting users’ equipment, software and services with remote control technologies (i.e. phone, screenshare, chat).
- Collaborating with other technicians, staff and vendors to resolve issues.
- Owning assigned tickets and tasks and prioritizing work accordingly.
- Maintaining in-office equipment and inventory. Ordering, managing computers and mobile devices.
- Providing continuing education, maintaining documentation and delivering exceptional customer service.
Skills & Qualifications
- You have provided IT support in a previous role or have similar work experience (1-2 years)
- You have previously used Gmail, Mac OS, Windows
- Knowledge of troubleshooting issues with computers and mobile devices.
- Excellent verbal skills. Bilingual is a plus but not required (English/French).

Salary Range - $51,000 -$56,000
