Excavator Operators – Competition #JCL115
JCL Investments inc. is currently inviting applications for skilled Excavator Operators for work in Cape Broyle. The schedule for this project is 10 days/4 days off.
Responsibilities
· Operate Excavator safely and efficiently to support dam refurbishment activities.
· Perform trenching, grading, and material handling as required.
· Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
· Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors
· Participate in daily FLRA’s and Hazard Assessments
· Follow all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
· Report all near miss/incidents
· Work to plans and specifications as directed by superintendent
· Participate in daily work planning
· Operate other equipment as required
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating excavator on civil or infrastructure projects.
· Valid Trenching and Excavation Training Certificate
· Valid Power Line Hazards training Certificate
· Must possess Valid Driver’s License with Class 8 Endorsement and clean driver’s abstract
