Position: E-commerce Manager
Location: Toronto GTA (remote)
Job Description: We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded E-commerce Manager to drive the scaling and growth of our Shopify-based footwear brands: Anthony Veer, Carlos Santana Shoes for Men, and A. Veer. The ideal candidate thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment, has proven experience in scaling businesses, and is eager to contribute strategically and operationally. Experience within footwear or the broader fashion industry is strongly preferred, but not mandatory.
This role is suited for someone motivated by entrepreneurial challenges and growth opportunities, not someone seeking a corporate-level role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, optimize, and scale our three Shopify storefronts for maximum performance and growth.
- Oversee comprehensive product catalog management, including compelling product listings, effective pricing strategies, inventory management, and promotional activities.
- Develop and implement strategic digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, social media) focused on growth and customer acquisition.
- Conduct regular, detailed analysis of web analytics, sales data, and customer feedback to drive data-informed growth strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and inventory accuracy.
- Lead technical integrations, payment gateways, and third-party tools that enhance our e-commerce capabilities.
- Budget and financial oversight with a clear focus on optimizing profitability and growth.
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends, competitive activities, and e-commerce innovations to sustain our competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce management, ideally across multiple Shopify platforms.
- Demonstrated success in growing and scaling e-commerce businesses, preferably within the apparel or footwear industry.
- Advanced proficiency with Shopify, digital marketing, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Shopify analytics), and SEO.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for website management and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Expertise in digital marketing strategies, including social media marketing and email campaigns.
- Excellent graphic design skills or experience working with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong research skills to analyze market trends and consumer behavior effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
