Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly check-in experience.
- Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and relay messages as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
