Job Title: Groundskeeper

Wage: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)
Job Overview: We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Groundskeeper to maintain and improve the outdoor spaces of a few properties in the Fredericton area. This is a hands-on, full-time, Monday to Friday, seasonal position. The ideal candidate is experienced in landscaping, light carpentry, and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replant shrubs, build and maintain flower beds
- Construct slate rock retaining walls
- Maintain mulch beds and perform seasonal cleanups
- Light mowing/whipper snipping and trimming of grass and hedges
- Operate and load small Kubota equipment, including tractors and backhoes
- Tree and debris pickup and removal
- Perform light carpentry repairs (e.g., replacing deck boards)
- Carry out general handyman tasks and odd jobs as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a similar role
- Comfortable operating landscaping and light construction equipment
- Basic carpentry skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple properties
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
