Job Description
As a Ground Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tree service operations. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Assisting climbers and equipment operators with job site preparation and cleanup
✅ Operating chainsaws, wood chippers, and other power tools safely and efficiently
✅ Rigging and lowering tree limbs using ropes and pulleys
✅ Managing brush and wood debris, ensuring efficient job site operations
✅ Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment
✅ Adhering to all safety protocols and industry standards
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience in tree service, landscaping, or outdoor labour is an asset but not required—we’re willing to train the right candidate!
✔ Physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
✔ Comfortable working in all weather conditions and at heights if needed
✔ Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔ Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
✔ Valid G-class driver’s license required (DZ license is an asset)
✔ Chainsaw certification, First Aid/CPR, or related training is a plus
