We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Grill Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness in the kitchen. Location: Downtown Toronto Financial District Food Court
Your duties:
- Marinating raw meats
- Cooking meats on a flat top griddle
- Extensive food prep
- Restocking during lunch rush hour
- Taking and preparing customer orders
- Cleaning griddle/work station and washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.
What we are looking for:
- Experience working as a grill person
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Works well in a fast paced environment
- Able to take feedback well
- Able to work Monday to Friday daytime
- Punctual and efficient
- Permanent and long-term employment
- SIN is required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 37 per week
