The Governance Services Coordinator supports CREB®’s Executive Office and Governance Services department, ensuring efficient operations, effective meetings, and adherence to governance best practices. This role provides meeting support, accurate minute-taking, and smooth administrative processes, maintaining clarity and alignment with CREB®’s governance framework.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas and materials, and taking accurate, real-time minutes. Track and follow up on post-meeting action items to ensure accountability and timely execution. Minute-taking is a critical component of this role, requiring precision, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Support governance operations by assisting with board and committee member onboarding, maintaining governance calendars, updating rosters, and ensuring secure and timely access to governance documents.
- Facilitate executive and board communications, including scheduling high-level meetings and events, arranging travel and accommodations, and providing confidential administrative support to board members and senior leadership.
- Oversee expense reconciliations, process travel claims, support financial tracking, and maintain well-organized digital and physical records for governance functions.

What qualifications and skills do I need to meet your requirements?”
We like your enthusiasm already. Here’s a list of the minimum requirements to be competitive:
- A diploma in Business Administration
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in Governance Administration
- Experience working with Boards and/or committees
- Previous experience working with a not-for profit association would be an asset
