Job Overview
As a server/bartender you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to all golfers and customers at Lebovic Golf Club. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in fast paced environments. You will be required to collaborate with your department members to complete your duties within a timely manner while upholding the values of Lebovic Golf Club.
Duties
- Greet golfers and clientele entering the restaurant and the food service stations located at Lebovic Golf Club .
- Provide efficient service to all golfers and clientele at Lebovic Golf Club, facilitating a positive experience.
- Take and place food and beverage orders in a timely and friendly manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking stations and materials as needed to prepare for service.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices and restaurant cleanliness.
Working Conditions
The position of Food and Beverage server requires you to work within the restaurant located inside the Lebovic Golf Club Clubhouse. This position will also require you to work outside on the Lebovic Golf Course property, such as the service stations and the beverage cart. This position will expose you to hot weather conditions (25-40 degrees celsius), cold weather conditions (0-10 degrees celsius), rain (light precipitation), and sun. The course's operational hours are subject to change. This includes closures due to extreme weather conditions, such as thunderstorms that threaten golfers and the terrain, windstorms that cause dangerous playing conditions, and in rare cases, extreme heat spells that cause potential harm to personnel and terrain.
Experience & Qualifications
- Legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario.
- Smart Serve Certification.
- Restaurant service experience preferred.
- 3 months on-the-job training required.
- Ability to drive (golf carts and other small all-terrain vehicles)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and foster an atmosphere of respect and inclusivity
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 44 per week
