Job Position
We require Glazier for our service department.
Full-time position
Location: Edmonton
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine type of glass, frames and material required
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Measure, mark and cut glass
- Position and secure panes in frame
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass products
- Repair glass doors and other glass structures
- Experience in installing glass in shapes or standard sizes.
- Operate a variety of assembly line equipment including powered saws
- Assembling parts with hand manipulation and dexterity
- Digital and Manual recording of orders
- Maintain workmanship, area progress and workflow initiatives
- Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Well organized and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and able to meet production deadlines
