Essential duties and responsibilities:
- A-Z installation of window and door systems.
- Setting and installation of operating window, swing doors, lift and slide systems, folding door systems.
- Glazing, gasketing, sealing.
- Staging and positioning components and products necessary for installation at the openings such as frames, glass, and finished door/window systems.
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolds, rigging, hoisting equipment, and lifting apparatuses.
- Prep window and door openings with required specific membranes.
- Complete various caulking details.
Abilities and skills:
- Able to read blueprints from architectural specifications.
- Able to commute to various job locations. Class-5 passenger vehicle license is preferred.
- Able to work on jobs within the Lower Mainland including Whistler.
- Able to handle 45 kg.
- Able to take instructions and carry forward tasks for the installation of architectural window and door systems.
- Time management skills.
Product lines include:
- Wood backed curtain wall framing systems.
- Steel fenestration systems.
- All-aluminum fenestration systems.
Compensation:
- Stilewood's payrate for positions in this department will be based on the actual qualifications, skills, education, and work experience of the successful candidate.
- Between $30.00-$45.00 per hour.
