We are looking for skilled, customer service oriented team members! Mackie Homes is a Tarion registered rural home builder located in the greater Ottawa area, Ottawa Valley and, Brockville area. We have been building homes since 2012 and we are looking to expand our team with knowledgeable and friendly handy men and women.
We are looking for a skilled individual to join our crew as a General Laborer, Service Technician for our finish construction team. This important position offers great potential for personal growth and long-term employment . This position will require knowledge of new home construction, Ontario building code, be customer-service oriented and will be working with our construction team to deliver a quality constructed home with premium finishes our client's are accustomed to.
The successful candidate will be local to the surrounding Ottawa area, have their own transportation, will be working in unoccupied and homeowner-occupied homes as a representative of Mackie Homes and operating from a smart-device to complete homeowner submitted repair lists including; tile repairs, drywall repairs, caulking, small exterior repairs, etc.
Hourly wage will vary based on experience and ability ($26.00-$35.00). Experience and knowledge of construction and finish carpentry is essential for this position. Company benefits available and a team environment to help support you.
Must have own vehicle and valid license and your own set of power tools to be job ready.
Work is available 8-4 Mon- Fri.
