Our family owned and operated company with over 60 years in business is looking for a General Labourer for our motor modification shop. If you are reliable, mechanically inclined, hardworking, committed to safety and have a good attitude we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities;
- Working with other Motor Shop employees to assist with dismantling, making modifications, and re-assembling electric motors
- Complete all necessary paperwork to ensure proper tracking of jobs.
- Painting of motors
- Operating overhead crane, forklift and other power equipment
Qualifications;
- Basic mechanical understanding
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to measure, cut, bend, grind, drill, use hand tools/proper measuring tools
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Job requires walking, standing for long periods of time, bending, and lifting 50+ pounds
- Ability to work well with others and without direct supervision
