We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our small team at Planters Ridge Winery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has a passion for food and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily food preparation and plating.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing work areas.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Food handlers certificate would be considered an asset.
Schedule & Compensation:
- 3–4 shifts per week, including some weekends
- Daytime shifts
- Seasonal until December 2025, opportunity to return next season
