Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Contractor to work with us on a subcontractor basis. In this role, you will oversee and manage renovation projects from start to finish, coordinating trades, maintaining timelines, and ensuring work meets our high standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction disciplines, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Supervise subcontractors and laborers to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to building codes and regulations.
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to discuss project requirements and design specifications.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and changes.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Experience
Candidates should have a proven track record in the construction industry with experience in the following areas:
- Concrete finishing
- Carpentry
- Masonry
- Construction painting
- Tile laying
- Proficient use of power tools
- Flooring installation
- Construction estimating
- Concrete forming
- Reading and interpreting schematics
- Full bathroom & kitchen renovation experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
