Overview
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing service requests in the customer’s home. This includes initial product inspections and completing product repairs.
Duties
In Home Service
Product Inspections
- Complete a thorough inspection of the product needing service to identify any problems
- Ensure that the customer feels valued and comfortable
- Trouble shoot possible causes and corrections for the product problem
Product Repairs
- Execute any repairs that are reasonably possible to complete in the customer’s home
Vehicle Maintenance
- Clean interior of service van on a weekly basis or as required
- Clean exterior of service van as required
- Clean and organize service van
- Notify management when service is required on the service van
In House Service
Product Repairs
- Execute any repairs that are reasonably possible to complete in the warehouse
- Assist other service team members with in home product repairs as required
- Assist with pulling, inspecting and wrapping product as required
- Assist with managing the NAS Inventory by running weekly NAS Reports and ordering parts
General Duties
- Calling and scheduling for Calgary services
- Follow all Nordic policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any deficiencies
- Assist all other departments when the need arises with any reasonable request within your skill set
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Related furniture repair courses would be an asset
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in furniture repair role
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools

- Driver’s abstract will be required during the interview process and a Criminal Background check will be required to ensure our customer's and your co-worker’s safety
