Responsibilities
- Design and construct custom furniture pieces, including tables, cabinets, and more.
- Utilize woodworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Perform repairs and refinishing on existing furniture as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are in proper working order.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance craftsmanship.
- Assist in the installation of furniture pieces where required.
Experience
- Proven experience in furniture making or related fields such as cabinetry or woodworking.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and functionality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
