Job Description:
Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home is the only locally family-owned traditional funeral service provider in Barrie. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for a part-time Funeral Director’s Assistant role. In this position, you will help with the day-to-day operations of the funeral home, including maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting during visitations, services, graveside services, interments, and receptions and intimate gatherings.
Requirements:
Availability to be on-call at night.
A compassionate and respectful demeanor suitable for the sensitive nature of our services.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
