We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to lead the execution of our fundraising strategy, strengthen donor relationships, and expand our funding base. This role is ideal for a mission-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of fundraising initiatives that further fuel our growth and impact.
The Fundraising Manager will work closely with Prepr’s leadership team and cross-functional staff to drive day-to-day fundraising operations and build lasting relationships with foundations, corporate partners, and individual donors.

What We’re Looking For:
- Passionate about Prepr’s mission to drive inclusive, skills-based learning and innovation
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, or business development—preferably in the nonprofit or social impact sector
- Confident relationship-builder with a strong network and experience securing funding from foundations and donors (including six-figure gifts)
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, startup-like environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills
- Comfortable learning about and discussing topics related to technology, digital skills, and innovation
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy aligned with Prepr’s strategic goals and growth targets
- Cultivate and manage a pipeline of prospective funders (foundations, individuals, corporate partners)
- Lead the development of compelling proposals, pitch decks, and case statements
- Prepare and manage grant applications, reporting, and compliance
- Steward relationships with current donors through regular updates and engagement
- Identify new funding opportunities and partnerships to support program expansion
- Design and refine internal processes for tracking fundraising progress and donor engagement
Bonus Points If You:
- Have a degree or certificate in fundraising, nonprofit management, communications, business, or another relevant field
- Are familiar with the AGILE methodology or have experience working in iterative, collaborative environments
- Have experience using fundraising or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, GrantStation, or similar systems)
- Have worked in a scaling nonprofit, social enterprise, or startup, and are comfortable navigating growth and change
What Success Looks Like:
90 Days:
- You’ll have completed our 90 day onboarding program, and possess the 10 Skills for Success that empower all of our employees to thrive in their positions and take control of their professional development (Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, Innovation, Digital, Problem Solving, Numeracy, Reading & Writing).
- You’ll know the ins and outs of how our programs, platform and internal processes work.
- You’ll understand how your role supports the broader business objectives, and start to become a key contributor in meetings by solving problems, providing recommendations, or proposing new ideas.
6 Months:
- You’ll have identified areas for personal and professional development and seek relevant learning opportunities.
- You’ll be leading larger projects and contributing to process improvements within your team.
- You’ll be delivering results on key initiatives and be taking a more proactive approach with identifying new areas of opportunity for the business or your team.
1 Year:
- You’ll have led high-impact projects that align with the company’s strategic goals, and be working cross functionally on a regular basis.
- You’ll be seen as a subject-matter expert and a go-to resource within your team or department.
- You’ll achieve significant milestones in your professional development and set long-term growth and career goals with your manager and HR.
What We Offer:
- $65,000-$80,000/year based on experience
