Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience while managing staff, inventory, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of hospitality.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain cost control measures.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menu items that meet customer preferences while adhering to food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, preferably as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Japanese language skills are a strong asset
