We are Gerhard’s Café looking for a front of house staff/Server who is energetic, customer focused and team player. Willing to learn and grow and be able to work in fast pace environment.
Key Attributes and Skills:
-Greeting customers upon arrival at the Cafe
-Providing excellent customer service during their dining experience
-Providing suggestions and up selling for food or drink choices to customers
-Taking feedback from customers
-Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future customers
-Craft beverages, prepare toppings, and package and warm up food for customers
-Make high quality lattes and other espresso based drinks
-Operate the Point of Sales (POS) computer and safely handle cash
-Maintain a consistently clean and well-maintained sales floor and stock room
-Adhere to the cleaning schedule to prolong the life of all equipment
Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of serving experience
-Good Customer Service etiquette and patient
-Great team spirit and customer service oriented
-Collaborations and Other duties as required
-Patient and good work attitude at all times
-Able to work well under pressure
-Ability to work variable hours including mornings, afternoons, weekends and/or statutory holidays
