Details: Temporary, Nights, 32.50 hours per week, 11:30PM to 7:30AM, 3-week rotating schedule (This is a temporary position that is expected to end on or before July 10, 2026)
Schedule:
Week 1: Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
Week 3: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday
Pay Scale: $19.05 - $23.10 per hour
Location: Virginia Park Lodge, 11033 – 76 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5B 4T2; Beverly Place Lodge, 4410-117 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5W 4Z8
Typical Duties: Food preparation, baking, portioning and labeling food, cleaning kitchen areas and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables, assisting with meal services and beverages, and other site-specific duties as assigned.
Experience/Education Preferences:
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required
- Experience in food preparation and baking is an asset
- Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
- Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner
- Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
