We're currently looking for a Food Cashier that will have experience in scheduling, overseeing a team and other important responsibilities for this epic role !
Position: Food Cashier
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and respond to customer questions
Schedule shifts and ensure adequate team coverage at all times
Oversee and direct daily activities of a dynamic team
Manage inventory and ordering of products to ensure stock levels are maintained
Participate in the hiring process including interviewing and onboarding new team members
Train and mentor new staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service
Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
Bag and assist with carrying out purchases
Complete cash-up procedures
Assist in setting up and maintaining merchandise displays
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Exceptional attention to detail and quality
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
