Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will play a crucial part in the daily operations of our food service establishment, contributing to a positive dining experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $15.00-$21.15 per hour
