Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our guests enjoy their dining experience by assisting with food preparation, service, and maintaining a clean environment. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining and kitchen spaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere.
Qualifications * Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an asset.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic team setting.
