About the Department of Aviation
The aviation program is growing, moving into a new hangar in August 2025. Mount Royal University’s Aviation diploma program has been in operation since 1970, and the Bachelor of Aviation Management began in 2024, with options for a Flight Operations Concentration which includes flight training, or an Aviation Operations Concentration. The program operates 10 aircraft at Springbank Airport and have plans to increase the fleet size. Flight Training students can graduate with a Commercial Pilot Licence and Group 1 Instrument Rating, with an option for some students to complete a Flight Instructor Rating after the diploma.
About the Role
Mount Royal University Aviation is looking to expand its team of professional and experienced flight instructors, as we are increasing our student intake numbers for the Diploma program. We offer high quality instruction to students seeking a career in the aviation industry.
