Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Printer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating printing machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the production of high-quality printed materials while maintaining efficiency and safety standards in the warehouse environment. We print with Mark Andy's 2200 to 4200 machines.
Duties
- Operate and monitor printing machines to produce high-quality prints according to specifications.
- Set up machines for different printing jobs, including adjusting settings for color, size, and material.
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the printing process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a printing or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including packaging and inventory management.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus; certification may be required.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for specific printing jobs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
