Position: Finishing Bay Team Member
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-focused individual to join our shop team in the Finishing Bay. This role is responsible for sanding, staining, sealing, and finishing our wood furniture products before final inspection and packing.
Responsibilities:
- Sanding wood products to smooth, consistent finishes
- Applying stains, sealants, and topcoats (spray and hand application)
- Monitoring drying times and finish quality
- Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization in the finishing area
- Supporting final assembly and quality control as needed
- Working collaboratively with production and design teams
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with woodworking or finishing preferred (but not required – we’re happy to train the right person)
- A strong eye for detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Comfort using hand tools, spray equipment, and working around machinery
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and reliability
