Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and generate meaningful insights to support business decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across clinical and administrative departments.
- Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements for cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor revenue cycles and reimbursement trends tyo identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations, clinical, and administrative teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Support audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain financial models and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage KPI reporting to monitor financial and strategic outcomes.
- Ownership of private pay revenue streams, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reconciliation.
- Provide oversight of Alberta Health billings to support compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain audit ready billing documentation to support internal and external review processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis, preferably within healthcare or a similar regulated industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare billings, insurance claims, and regulatory standards is an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
