Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our office by managing and organizing files, data entry, and supporting various administrative tasks. This position requires strong computer skills and a proactive approach to data management.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all information is up-to-date in databases
- Assist in the collection and compilation of data for reports and audits
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and ERP systems to manage spreadsheets and track information
- Support clerical functions such as typing, copying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and address any filing or data-related issues
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies
Requirements
- Previous office experience is preferred, with a focus on administrative roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with databases and ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
