Position Overview:
At Advance Testing, we are seeking a Material Testing Field Technician to perform critical field tests on asphalt, and soil. You’ll ensure the accuracy of testing procedures and timely submission of reports, directly impacting the success of construction projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct field density tests on soils using a densitometer.
- Perform asphalt testing using densitometer tools.
- Ensure the work truck is organized and stocked with necessary equipment.
- Confirm client appointments.
- Maintain and clean testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Submit detailed field reports at the end of each workday.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in field density testing using a portable gauge.
- Strong knowledge of construction material testing (asphalt, soil).
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
