Responsibilities:
- Startup of new Foremost equipment at customer’s location.
- Inspection, diagnosis and repair of equipment at customer’s location.
- Adjust equipment & repairing/replacing defective parts, components, or systems according to the scope of work.
- Communicate with customers to define the scope of repairs.
- Develop and maintaining cooperative, customer service-focused relationship with internal and external customers.
- Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician / Heavy Duty Equipment Technician License preferred
- Experience with Hydraulic, Electrical, and Mechanical Systems.
- Working knowledge of drilling equipment and transportation vehicles an asset.
- Self-motivated, fast learner and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in our manufacturing facility/ shop as well as in the field
- Ability to work on call and overtime when required.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Valid Driver’s license (abstract required)
- Valid Passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions (at times with little or no notice prior).
- Safety Training an asset but will train as required
