Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with hands-on experience in various installation techniques. This role involves working on-site to install, repair, and maintain fences for residential and commercial properties. The Fence Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install various types of fences including wood, vinyl, chain link, and decorative iron.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as part of the fence installation process.
- Conduct necessary site preparations including digging post holes and leveling ground.
- Assemble fence components according to specifications and design plans.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
- Provide landscape maintenance as needed around installed fences.
- Assist in masonry work related to fence installations when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques is beneficial.
- Skills in hardscape installation are an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Candidate must have a valid G license ( D license is preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
