Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Assist in training new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain food safety standards by ensuring proper handling, storage, and preparation of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Conduct regular team meetings to motivate staff and communicate goals.
- Lead by example in all aspects of restaurant management, including bartending when necessary.
- Support management in interviewing potential candidates for open positions.
