Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across all age groups, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in medical clinic settings. The Family Medicine Physician will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical services while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses.
- Administer medications and manage pain effectively for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
- Provide care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring appropriate developmental assessments.
- Maintain accurate medical records using MedAccess electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, wellness strategies, and preventive care.
- Flexible Schedule available (Full-time, Part-Time, Locum, Weekends, Extended Hours Only etc.).
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution and must licensed in Canada to practice..
- College certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for board certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practices relevant to family medicine.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred; familiarity with pain management practices is a plus.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly MedAccess.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of family medicine.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $189,392.45-$533,686.01 per year
