Our team is committed to excellence in advocacy and client care, and we are looking for a Family Law Law Clerk to join our practice and play a key role in our success.
Role Overview:
The Family Law Law Clerk will work closely with lawyers and clients to provide high-quality legal and administrative support. This role requires strong knowledge of family law procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review family law documents, including Applications, Answers, Financial Statements, Motions, Affidavits, and Separation Agreements.
- File and serve court documents through CaseLines and other relevant court systems.
- Manage client communications with professionalism and discretion.
- Schedule meetings, conferences, and court appearances.
- Maintain and organize client files (both electronic and physical).
- Perform legal research and assist with trial and hearing preparation.
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to lawyers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Law Clerk diploma or equivalent relevant education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a law clerk in family law (required).
- Strong knowledge of the Family Law Rules, court procedures, and forms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DivorceMate, PC Law and legal practice management software (preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files with competing deadlines.
- Professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills when dealing with clients.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
