Facilities cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• We have 2 facilities available currently, 1 in surrey and 1 in Vancouver. we prefer the same individual to service both facilities daily.
• This is a part time and temporary position for the month of October and November.
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Conduct commercial cleaning tasks in various settings such as offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities by following established cleaning protocols and schedules.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the premises.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient cleaning operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
