Flashpoint Training Inc. is seeking confident, dynamic, and diverse Part-Time Subcontractor Facilitators to lead career-focused skill development sessions for high school students. If you're passionate about youth empowerment and delivering interactive training, we want to hear from you!

-Scarborough Area – 2+ positions
-Southwestern Ontario – 1 position
About the Role
As a Facilitator, you’ll work in pairs to lead engaging, in-person group sessions using Flashpoint’s proprietary curriculum. You’ll help high school students develop real-world, transferable skills through active, experiential learning.
- Schedule: Generally October to May (weekday sessions between 9 AM and 3 PM)
- Time Commitment: 10–15 hours per week, flexible based on your availability
- Compensation: Starting at $42.50/hour, including prep, travel, and session wrap-up time
- Type: Freelance / Contract
- Start Date: September 23, 2025
- Location: In-person facilitation at local sites
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, high-energy sessions in pairs using Flashpoint’s curriculum
- Build rapport with diverse youth and create a supportive, motivating environment
- Model professionalism and transferable job skills
- Attend orientation and shadow sessions before facilitating independently
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Qualities:
- Energetic, confident, and engaging facilitation style
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with youth
- Operational excellence and time management
- Creative problem solving and critical thinking
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Experience & Education:
- 3+ years in facilitation, coaching, or training (preferred)
- At least 5+ years of life/work experience in any sector
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in any field
