Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building structures and a strong understanding of construction techniques. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work with various tools and materials to create durable frameworks for buildings. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our projects.
Duties
- Construct frameworks for buildings using wood, metal, or other materials based on blueprints and schematics.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials to ensure proper placement and alignment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling building components.
- Engage in concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for foundation work.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged framing elements.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to construction projects.
- Experience with concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, levels, and measuring devices.
- Familiarity with power tools including nail guns, drills, and saws.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during construction.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Additional pay:
